Income replacement for times of need
You care about your workers. If something unexpected happens to any of them, you want them to be able to focus on their recovery, not worry about their finances. That’s where the Concordia Disability and Survivor Plan comes into play – to make sure your workers and their families have income replacement in times of need.
The CDSP has two components of income replacement – disability benefits and basic life insurance benefits – both of which are included in the low cost of the CDSP.
Disability benefits for times of need.
Unforeseen life changes can interrupt the security of a paycheck - whether those interruptions are the joyful addition of a child or something more difficult, the CDSP provides a monthly income benefit to make sure that the financial burden of the world doesn't distract from the ability of our workers to recover. Workers will receive income replacement of approximately 70% of their annual salary.
Reporting a claim is easy! A worker, or his or her representative, can contact Concordia Plans at 888-927-7526 or complete the Disability Submission form.
Life Insurance benefits for times of loss.
The CDSP also includes Basic Life Insurance for your workers to ensure that their income would be replaced to support their families if the unexpected happens.
Providing your workers with life insurance helps give them peace of mind. Life insurance is increasingly becoming a standard of quality benefits – so make sure your workers are covered with the CDSP.
