Managing the 403(b) Plan

Offering the Concordia Retirement Savings Plan (CRSP) 403(b) is an effective way to help your workers prepare for their retirement.

As the employer, you are responsible for withholding the worker’s savings amount from his or her paycheck on either a traditional pre-tax or Roth after-tax basis. The CRSP Administrative Guide contains instructions for how to withhold contributions.

Withheld contribution amounts are sent to 90 Degree Benefits, the company who collects and consolidates CRSP contributions before sending them to Fidelity, the investment company that manages the CRSP.

You can select one of three options for sending contributions:

Have you registered with 90 Degree Benefits? For your ministry to participate in the CRSP, you must complete an ACH Funding Authorization form and submit it to Concordia Plans by following the instructions on the form.

Have questions? Need help sending contributions? Contact the Retirement Savings team by calling 888-927-7526 ext. 6008, emailing [email protected] or using the contact form.

The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Remember:

To prevent compliance issues, it is important to send in your worker’s contributions no later than 20 business days following the month the contribution is taken from his or her paycheck. Employers who have failed to remit contributions could be responsible for funding lost earnings to member accounts. If your ministry is out of compliance in contribution remittance, please call our office.
