Kim Hoover
Serving Pacific Southwest (Arizona), Texas and Oklahoma Districts.
Kim Hoover joined CPS in June 2015. As an Account Manager, she assists LCMS ministries in the Arizona, Oklahoma and Texas Districts. She also served CPS as a New Business Development Consultant. Kim graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from American Intercontinental University.
Before joining CPS, Kim had a diverse career including working as a director of benefits for large manufacturing employers, an account executive with a benefits consulting firm, and a client relationship manager with a national insurance carrier.
Kim and her husband, Phil, have two children and are blessed with four grandchildren. She enjoys reading, and walking or hiking in the great outdoors.
Kim's favorite Bible verse is: "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1
Desmond Kittelson
Serving Dallas Fort Worth and San Antonio areas of the Texas District.
Desmond Kittelson joined the Concordia Plans Ministry Engagement team in 2015. He currently serves ministries in the Dallas Fort Worth and San Antonio areas of the Texas District.
With a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!), Desmond has spent his entire career in retail and sales. Before coming to work for CPS, he worked 23 years in school photography managing territories in four states.
Desmond and his wife are blessed with two daughters. When he’s not helping ministries, you’ll find Desmond outdoors golfing, playing pickleball, hiking or biking.
The Kittelsons are members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Des Peres, Missouri, where Desmond is Past Chairman of the Board of Elders.
Desmond's favorite Bible verse is: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.” John 10:27-28

Miriam Herrera
Serving LCMS ministries across the country with four or fewer full-time workers.
Miriam Herrera has a unique role with the Ministry Engagement Team. As an Account Representative, she works with LCMS ministries across the country with four or fewer full-time workers enrolled in Concordia Plans.
Miriam joined the CPS team more than 10 years ago. You may recognize her friendly voice, as she spent nine years helping members as part of Customer Care before being promoted to her current role helping ministries.
Miriam and her husband have been blessed with three children. When she has free time, she taps into her artistic side, by drawing and crafting.
