Building a culture of mental wellness in your ministry is important. Mental health concerns such as burnout, anxiety and depression can impact worker productivity, engagement and overall well-being. We are equipping you to better support your workers’ mental health with our new mental health care solution: Evernorth Confide Behavioral Health Navigator.
Starting May 1, your workers will have new expanded mental health solutions through an enhanced EAP by Evernorth Confide, including personalized navigation designed to break down the most common barriers to behavioral health care.
We’ll share details with your workers via email and mail on May 1 to kick off Mental Health Awareness Month. CPS will keep Evernorth Confide and the importance of mental health care in front of members so when mental health support is needed, access is easy.
We've updated our Employer Mental Health Toolkit with new information and resources - be sure to check it out and share these tools with your workers.

Are you up to speed with the Concordia Disability and Survivor Plan (CDSP) and how it benefits your workers in their times of need? If your answer is no – that's OK! We're providing a rundown May 21 at 1 p.m. CT during a featured webinar that explains the fundamentals of the disability side of the CDSP.
This webinar will cover:
Plan provisions.
Administrative teams.

This is the first webinar in a series delivered throughout the year that is dedicated to educating LCMS employers about the benefits available through the CDSP.
Last month we held a webinar with HR Services partner Mineral, and they shared an overview of their new “Smart Employee Handbook.” With this service, you can easily generate a federal and state compliant handbook. When laws and regulations change, Mineral will alert you and provide the updated policies for your handbook. If you missed the live webinar, you can watch the recording here.
Reminder: Please share the CRSP 403(b) ‘Notice to Interested Persons'
If your ministry participates in the Concordia Retirement Savings Plan (CRSP) 403(b), please note that Concordia Plans is voluntarily submitting the CRSP 403(b) to the IRS for review June 3. This review will confirm that the CRSP complies with required rules and meets the tax-code requirements for a 403(b) retirement plan.
As part of this process, we ask that between May 10-24 you share this “Notice to Interested Persons” with workers who are enrolled or eligible for enrollment in the CRSP 403(b). Thank you for your help!
Spring is an exciting time for ministries as they learn more about new church workers who have been called to help in their ministries. We’re certain it will be a busy time as they prepare to join you.
Do you have what you need to successfully welcome your new ministry staff? We encourage you to check out our “Welcoming a Worker Toolkit,” which is stocked with resources to help you successfully bring new church workers onto your team.
Of course, if you have any questions, you can reach out to your Account Manager or contact Concordia Plans at [email protected] or 888-927-7526.
Teacher Appreciation Week May 6-10
For all our LCMS school teachers, we celebrate you during Teacher Appreciation Week! We support, respect and admire you for what you do for our students and LCMS education.
