Did you know we have a tool on our website that can help ensure your workers are fairly compensated? The Compensation Decision Support Tool provides salary benchmarks based on geographic location, type of ministry and other factors.
We’ve recently updated the tool to include additional church roles (Director of Church Ministry, Business Manager I, Business Manager II) and school roles (Director of Finance, Athletic Director, Director of Development/Advancement, Director of Admissions). Since the launch of the tool, more than 40,000 estimates have been run! You can access the tool, watch tutorial videos and view resources, including FAQs. Please contact [email protected] if you have questions.
Ministry Solutions team members Beth Jones and Jason Williams recently hosted a webinar dedicated to answering HR-related questions submitted by our ministries. Topics included a top 10 list of resume/prescreen red flags, Concordia Plans benefits eligibility, and items to include or not include in an employee’s personnel file. If you missed the webinar, you can watch it on demand.
At Concordia Plans, we strive to ensure that the tools and resources we offer are meeting the needs of our ministries and their workers. Next month we’ll be reaching out to employers AND members to gather opinions on our financial tools, resources and solutions. Be on the lookout mid-July for an email with a survey link.
Mark your calendar for Employer Benefits Elections!

98point6 and Summer Travel
When you travel this summer, bring along 98point6 so you can “teleport” a doctor via text to your vacation destination in case you or someone in your family needs treatment for skin irritations, cuts, allergies and more.
CRSP 403(b) Rollover
Newly hired workers will receive a triggered email letting them know if they have an IRA, 401(k), 457(b) or 403(b) retirement savings plan at their former employer, it is beneficial for them to consider rolling it in to the Concordia Retirement Savings Plan 403(b). This helps save them the time and the hassle of managing multiple accounts while taking advantage of all the benefits the CRSP 403(b) has to offer.
